Yesterday I've read an interesting news.  Many people from other countries like Canada go to America to "TAOBAO"-to dig for products that on great discount. It is the economy slow down that compels markdown. Because retailers need series of promotion to propel consumption. Seems it works well.

I'm not sure whether it's also the same case in other countries. But I think to some extent the economy down has even empower the consumption.
