Ambiente Frankfurt may be the premier home décor and home furnishing shows in the world. Buyers and suppliers from around the world congregate here twice a year, to show off the latest products and trends.
The fair is held in February(Ambiente) and July (Tendence) every year. It's one of the most influential fair in the international household and consumer goods. The exhibition center is divided into 9 halls, including one hall specially for Chinese products, which draws a lot of attention from global buyers. I've been to the fair for 6 times, it impressed me a lot. 60% of the visitors are from Europe. From my point of view, the fair is always leading the development of international household goods, it's an excellent channel and opportunity for Chinese enterprise to enter European and also the global market. The Spring fair is especially effective. Chinese exhibitors show great passion for this fair, some may rent two or three booths at a time, causing the lack of booth. At first Chinese exhibitors are mostly trading company, but from 2000 more and more manufacturers attend it. To satisfy the increasing requirement the organizer opened shows of daily-used goods for China and other Asian countries in the nearby district Offenbach (ASIANLIVING). This fair will be hold along with the Frankfurt Ambiente. Shuttle buses are available between these two exhibition. There are a lot of Chinese exhibitors attending the ASIALIVING each year. However plagiaries were found in the fair. So the organizer raised the issue for protecting of designs and intellectual right, which were supported by exhibitors. Any exhibitor who are been reported of any plagiary will be seriously punished, blacklisted and deprived further right for attending the fair.
Another thing I want to mention is the Canton Fair just follows the heel. So many buyers may come to Guangzhou and take the opportunity to visit some factories nearby.
The main products displayed add up to thousands include household goods, houseware, furniture and lighting products etc.
