International Famous Furniture Fair (Dongguan), commonly known as 3F, is a leading furniture fair in China since 1999. This semi-annual exhibition held in March and August, now shifted to September, is jointly organized by Dongguan City Government, Houjie Town Government, Dongguan Famous Furniture Association, International Furniture and Decoration (Hong Kong) Association and Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre.
Every year, over 700 exhibitors from 10 countries gather twice in Houjie and display their latest products in 9 exhibition halls covering 240,000sqm. 3F and its concurrent International Famous Furniture Woodworking Machinery & Material Fair, Dongguan Home Furnishings Fair touch every essential category in the home furnishings/d�cor marketplace, including bedroom furniture, living room furniture, upholstery, wall d�cor, decorative accessories, lightings, textile as well as woodworking machinery and materials. It is the most comprehensive home furnishings event in China and the most efficient trading and exchanging platform for the world�s furniture industry.
Held right in the center of China�s furniture industry, 3F is the only furniture event in China supported by Ministry of Commerce of China and Hong Kong Trade Development Council. It is the only furniture exhibition receives UFI Approved Event endorsement in China. It is the Excellent Furniture Exhibition in Intellectual Property Rights Protection in Guangdong.
Covering a space of 20,000sqm, Dongguan Home Accents Fair is held twice a year in March and September concurrently with International Famous Furniture Fair (Dongguan) (3F). In response to the growing demand from the market for home accents products, home furnishing products pavilion was separated from 3F as an independent trade fair since March 2007. Ever since then, the fair continues to grow and reach 20,000sqm after 3 major expansions. It displays decorative paintings, flowery, clay modeling, pottery, ceroplastic, rattan products, metal products and home fabrics all under one roof, greatly enhances the sourcing efficiency of trade buyers

It is hard to believe the scale of the Chinese Furniture shows.
This show is scattered across the "Furniture Road" in Houjie, but the main complex (I think numbers 3-9) are in a large convention set up. Bring your walking shoes, there are so many manufactures, you are sure to find what you need.
The "Modern Furniture" complex was the most crowded area, and the furniture factories seem to have a feeling for trends. Good looking products and nice set ups.
It seems that a lot of buyers go to this show and the Guangzhou show, my impression is that there might be some lower priced factories here vs. Guangzhou, but I also found that many factories show at both events. There is also a show in Shenzhen at the same time, which I've heard was just as amazing as this, although maybe not quite as large.
This show is again primarily focused on furniture, they do offer decorative accents, and have a whole floor, where nice products can be found, but nothing near the amount that can be sourced a the canton fair.
