The fair this spring (09) really is much smaller than the Hong Kong Housewares at the Exhibitions Center. I'd estimate its less than half the size, and the product selections are not nearly as well designed.
That said, there are some nice companies here, who are either waiting to get into the big fair, or prefer lower costs and larger booth sizes. In particular, there is a bit more furniture here than I remember at the HK Housewares...
The India Sourcing Fair, maybe had 100 companies, so it also is not a huge event, and this spring halls 3-10 were being used, and included a childrens products area (toys and clothes). Overall, I would say that the HK Housewares is the real event, and people should focus their time at that show.
